On July 30, 2017, some members from ASEZ gathered together at Mongolian University of Life Sciences, and took the meaningful first step to achieve 17 Sustainable Development Goals [SDGs]. They held a street cleanup for “Mother’s Street Project” at Mongolian University of Life Sciences which had recently signed a MOU with ASEZ for voluntary services of the students. Around 200 people participated in this event, including the ASEZ members from Korea and from Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, the head of Khan Uul District 11, Ulaanbaatar, and officials from Mongolian University of Life Sciences.

Starting with the opening speech of Erdenemunkh, the Head of Khan Uul District 11, the volunteers did landscaping work on campus, and cleaned trash in the street. They made an effort to improve the regional environment by picking up cigarette butts and waste along the riverside of the Tuul Gol River flowing near the campus.

Javjandorj, the Director of Landscaping of Mongolian University of Life Sciences, participated in the event and expressed his gratitude, saying, “I’m very happy to see these many people participate in this good activity to save the environment of Earth. I want to recommend to other people that they join this activity with the great and beautiful people from the Church of God.”

This day, the activity of ASEZ was broadcast through mass media with public confidence such as Ulzii TV, TV5, and Joni-Mede. ASEZ signed a MOU with four organizations, including Mongolian University of Life Sciences, National Blood Donor Center Mongolia, Khan Uul District 15, and Khan Uul Borough Office, and now is planning on spreading “Mother’s Street” in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
