On August 20, 2023, 135 ASEZ members in Malaysia gathered for a clean and safe Earth.

For the past year, ASEZ members in Malaysia partnered with the Taylor Education Group to carry out the Reduce Crime Together Project. This initiative, led by ASEZ, aims to prevent and reduce crime globally for the common welfare of humanity. Over the last year, the ASEZ members in Malaysia has conducted RCT school, the crime prevention education for students at MON Refugee Education Center, which is affiliated with the Taylor Education Group. The efforts of raising crime prevention awarness of future generations were recognized with an award from the school.

On August 20, 2023, ASEZ members, along with 40 students and 6 teachers from MON Refugee Education Center, gathered outside the school to practice what they learnt through the RCT School. They gathered to create crime free community through street clean-up in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. This event showcased a positive example of solidarity, as ASEZ university students and the next generation of students collaborated to create a safe and clean community.

Ezer Charles, an ASEZ member from UPSI University, said, “I’m thrilled to be involved as an ASEZ member in activities for the local community and the environment. I hope more young people can join ASEZ activities.”

Snong, Coordinator for MON Refugee Education Center, praised the ASEZ project, stating, “Through this project, our students have become more interested in crime prevention issues. The project has significantly contributed to improving our students’ communication and socialization skills through various cultural and educational activities. We sincerely appreciate ASEZ for their efforts.”

ASEZ believes that crime reduction and creating a safe and clean local community begin with the interest and actions of community members. They look forward to the continued interest and participation of the local community and university students in the Reduce Crime Together project.
