On June 15, 2025, ASEZ hosted a seminar at the International Joseph Public School in Mahankal, Nepal, as part of its “Zero Plastic 2040” campaign. The event aimed to raise awareness about the climate change and ecosystem destruction caused by plastic, while encouraging reduced use of plastic materials and promoting environmentally friendly alternatives.

During the event, ASEZ provided students with clear and accessible explanations about the environmental crises facing our planet along with its solution, and shared details about their ongoing environmental initiatives in various countries. The focus was on helping youth, who are the leaders of the future, recognize the seriousness of environmental issues and take action themselves.

The seminar received an enthusiastic response, with students actively participating until the end. Home Bahadur Adhikari, principal of International Joseph Public School, praised ASEZ as truly outstanding and expressed deep appreciation for their efforts, offering high praise for the organization’s activities.

He also voiced his support for the “Zero Plastic 2040” campaign by signing in support and noted that all participants were deeply impressed by ASEZ’s initiative and message. After the event, the principal and faculty members actively proposed expanding collaboration with ASEZ.

This event at International Joseph Public School was more than just an environmental seminar—it demonstrated new potential for youth and educational institutions to take meaningful action toward a sustainable planet. ASEZ plans to continue raising awareness about plastic reduction in partnership with schools and institutions around the world and will keep promoting environmental protection through a variety of action-based programs.

Believing that small actions by individuals can create great change, ASEZ will carry forward the “Zero Plastic 2040” campaign, inspiring more young people to take part in saving the Earth through real, everyday actions.
