On November 24, 2024, ASEZ members in the North Central U.S. held the “Making the World a Better Place” concert at the Indiana University Indianapolis. The event aimed to provide comfort and hope to humanity living in fear of global disasters. Approximately 200 participants, including IUI university officials and students, attended the event.
Before the concert began, Jessica Priso, President of the ASEZ club at IUI campus, introduced ASEZ during her opening remarks. She emphasized, “ASEZ’s main activities focus on sustainable efforts to create a better world, and we are committed to achieving this purpose.”

The concert featured performances by an orchestra and choir, delivering emotional and enjoyable experiences to the audience. Songs such as “Beautiful Country” (a Korean piece conveying a special sentiment), and globally recognized tracks like “What a Wonderful World” and “Over the Rainbow” were performed, touching the hearts of the audience with their beautiful melodies and lyrics.

Daniel Marrero, Founder and Owner of Onpoint Systems Inc., praised ASEZ’s efforts: “I am truly grateful for ASEZ’s passionate work addressing the pressing challenges our global community faces,” encouraging the students.

ASEZ member Veronica Bacon shared her reflections: “The ASEZ concert gave me an opportunity to think about how we can positively impact our neighbors. Just as small pieces of music can have great power, I now believe that by changing small habits in our daily lives, we can overcome the crises and environmental challenges we face.”

Disasters and calamities strike indiscriminately, regardless of gender, age, or social status, causing suffering around the world. In such times, ASEZ brings comfort and hope, starting from campuses, and becoming a strong source of support for people around the world. ASEZ’s future endeavors are expected to serve as a beacon, helping those suffering from disasters to hold on to hope.
